The neck date is 1 59 and the original 250k CTS pots date to the 16th week of 1959. This is the real deal The serial number on the neck plate dates to early59. Neck thickness measured right behind the fret. It has some nails added here and there to keep the edges connected to the top and bottom, but it is functional and looks good with the guitar, plus it'll keep the guitar safer in shipping. I'm not sure what the case is really for, but it is definitely of the same era. The guitar came in with no case, so I reached back in my stash and found the case you see pictured.
